“Cruisy areas,” as the old Bob Damron guide used to refer to them, included everything from public parks to tearooms, bathhouses to bookstores, nightclubs to adult theaters and all the places in between that gay men (and sometimes women) would go to find one another for the occasional hookup. We covered them all, while also discussing the complications such activity brought about with local law enforcement.
